Car Trouble

 

Was headed on my next adventure with Shorty and my car broke down. Anyone know a good mechanic?

This outfit I am wearing is by AVAgirl. It is called Birdy and is so comfy to wear. It features a puff sleeve crop top with bell bottom pants, an oversized belt, and a pair of heels. Plus the cutest dragonfly head band. It comes with a color HUD that has 9 different butterfly and floral textures for the top and bottoms. So you can mix and match your look. Morning Flower Picking

 

Stepping out in the early morning to pick flowers is the best time ever. The butterflies and wildlife are still active and it's so peaceful, but I think rain is on its way. I better scurry home.

My cute outfit I am wearing is by AVAgirl. This skirt and top combo is called, Ginger. Ginger comes with a color HUD with 10 bright colors. The skirt has the option to be solid or to say Flower Power on it and both options have flowers in the left pocket and grass in the right pocket. Not only can you change the skirt color, but you get 10 colors for each flower. The top is a white crop top with the option to change the collar and bottom piece as well as the flower print on the right shoulder. This set is rigged for Reborn, LaraX, Gen X Classic and Curvy, Legacy, and Kupra.

Lifes A Beach

 

Why must I be stuck inside working when the waves are so gnarly, I could be surfing.

This awesome shirt I am wearing is a The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. creation. Whimsically named Beach My Vibe. This shirt is one texture only that reads "Beach don't kill my vibe" and right now work is killing mine. This shirt is rigged for so many mesh bodies, but the unpacker HUD lets you choose your personal body, or you can open them all, I guess. Like they always say demo before your vibe is killed too.

Strawberry Fields

 

While out on another adventure, I seen Farmer Joe's strawberry fields were ready. No one tell him I picked a basket full. After all he has the sweetest strawberries around.

My shirt is from The Bold Llama T-Shirt Co. It is called #Sweetness. It comes with a texture HUD that features 3 different texture choices. It comes rigged for so many mesh bodies I couldn't possibly name them all. Along with the shirts you also get an alpha to wear in case you are lazy like me and don't want to alpha yourself every time via your body HUD, but as they say it's best to try the demo first.

Butterfly Fairy

My outfit is an amazing creation by none other than AVAgirl. With a name like Stardust this is an extraordinary outfit for any fairy. It is a lace dress with a flexi skirt that you can wear with or without. It comes with a color HUD that features 8 magical color choices as well as a tattoo that has stars. For those modest it does have white lace panties to slip on under the dress. It is rigged for Maitreya, Iris and Freya, Hourglass, Legacy Classic and Perky, as well as Reborn.

The wings I am wearing are matching wings that are separate from the dress. It comes with an AO, the bento wings, and a texture HUD with 8 colors to match the dress. These wings are called Stardust Bento Wings.

My amazing outfit is by AVAgirl and is called Mica. Mica is a sexah lingerie that comes with a semi-sheer boyfriend shirt, a tie, a thong, and white stockings. It comes with a color HUD that features 6 different color choices that you can mix and match for the shirt, tie, and thong. This set is rigged for Kupra, LaraX, GenX Classic and Curvy. As well as for Legacy and Reborn.

STRIDES CAMPAIGN (MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER)

The 6th annual Out Shop Cancer event supporting Making Strides and the American Cancer Society is almost here.

Out Shop Cancer is a main store and marketplace shopping event and a signature Strides Campaign in Second Life in support of the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer programs and research.

The 2023 Out Shop Cancer event includes main store and marketplace shopping, a grid-wide hunt, an Out Shop Cancer Pop-up Market, and a special Gala event. Along with the many shopping opportunities, there will be several special raffles during the month, including raffles for eBody Reborn bodies, Belleza bodies, LeLutka heads, skin packs and much more.

In addition to the shopping, hunt and raffles, there will be an art walk and photo contest this year. The Easthaven Art Walk will also run Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 and feature the creative work of artists and photographers, with proceeds benefiting Strides. A photo contest with the theme, "Season of Hope" will be held at Easthaven and open to everyone to join in the fun!

With more than 70 stores participating ranging from clothes to decor to breedables, there is something for everyone. Sandie Slate, founder of Out Shop Cancer, says “The response from designers this year has been tremendous and the amount of support for the event has exceeded expectations. With the inclusion of the Pop-Up Market and the Gala event, this year’s event is jam-packed with shopping and much more.”

Slate continued: "By hosting events throughout the month, there's plenty to see and do -- all while helping to raise funds for a great cause."

The Out Shop Cancer event runs from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31. Shoppers will be able to pick up a shopping hud inworld at the Out Shop Cancer office. Information about the Hunt, Pop-Up Market and Gala event will be available on the website as well.

All proceeds from this event go directly to the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer programs and services.
